I love you, believe it or not

Believe it or not, I want to keep this alive, I just have pushed it to the back of my priorities list.
I find it funny that my blogging quit almost the same time North's did.

Anyways, I've really tricked out my macbook. With Firefox, I've added something that let's me make this post without having to actually log into the site. I can play my iTunes by just pressing some buttons on the browser rather than manage both. I also have Twitter, which is great for people who don't have time for Facebook (or people who can do both). Twitter.com is just a combo of the status updates of Facebook and blogging. You simply go one, leave an update on how you are doing and leave it at that. Your friends come on see how your doing and leave their two cents. It's conveniant to keep in touch with people who are hard to keep in contact (I'm lookin at you mom! Get a Twitter! It's perfect for you!)

Probably my favorite thing now is since my iPod can only be charged through my macbook, my sound system is hooked up to my macbook. I messed around with my iCalendar so that it is my new alarm clock. My favorite modification though is my celebration music. I'm a guy that loves a good happy energetic song after a long week, and my mac plays this song at the end of my Friday classes. Don't tell me you don't feel awesomely awesome after hearing this...

Getting ready for my big auditions. They're coming up. I can't find a ride to Midwest yet, but I haven't given up hope yet. Classes are HARD this semester, but I'm getting by. Also trying to get another message board going during my free time (which is miniscule), but the members don't seem that interested in keeping up to date on it. I don't know whether to get rid of it.

Now here's something I've been pondering. To increase my speech skills (they're good but could always use improvement) I wanted to start making Youtube speeches. Not annoying blog things where people go on and spend their precious camera time mumbling "uhh....like.....this happened and it was so cool....yeah" but rather make a short 1-3 minute comment on something relevant. My nerdy side wants to make some REALLY nerdy ones, and I might pursue that urge, but for every nerdy one, I want something I can use to challenge myself intellectually, though I don't have many ideas on what those may be. I can tell what my parents are thinking "maybe you should just focus on your studies instead" but I want to reiterate that this would be taking time out of things like watching tv and games and such, so I considered it justified.

I can't think of much else to talk about, unless I want to mention this recent Michael Phelps thing. All I'll say is REALLY? America, you are REALLY surprised this guy smokes reefer? REALLY? I knew from the first day I saw that stoner grin the guy was a total blazer. TONS of swimmers are (I would bet among most professional sports, swimming posseses the most potheads), I don't see why everyone is dropping their jaws. I kind of chuckled when I thought "If the guy wins 8 gold medal and smokes the greens, wouldn't that be more of an advertisement?" Evidentally Tony the Tiger doesn't think so.
